Title: Wood Burning Project
Post by: troy_curtis on January 08, 2014, 04:48:20 pm
I know it isn't scroll saw work. I recently shared some work I did with my wood burning tool. This is my 2nd project.

you're doing a good job with the shading on these projects. That makes them look much more realistic. I wonder if the wood burner could be used to add shading and depth to a scroll portrait? Might be worth a try.

Your certainly coming along with the woodburning, better than I did.  All I managed to do was burn the wood.  It looked terrible.

If you do one and it works well let me know. I haven't done a portrait yet, but that is a good idea.

That's very nice Troy. You're coming on in leaps and bounds. Rays suggestion sounds worth trying too.

Now thats Talent....  Like Marge I gave it up.  Even with PRACTICE it was just to hard for me to keep a STEADY line or especially a Circle.  Great Job there....  Danny  :+}
