Sunday afternoon slow cooking
« on: March 30, 2014, 12:27:07 pm »
Well guys and gals,

first weekend with great 68F sunny weather.
so I started my BBQ/smoker and did put on a 3 lbs pork piece.
was a German meat filled with onion and dried meat.
did cook it for 4 hours at 200 F on a indirect charcoal fire.
nice and tender, not dry, just perfect.....
Yummy!

so let the summer come ;)

Looks delicious!  I used my grill also.  I cooked a commercially marinated pork loin in portobello mushroom and bacon, wrapped in aluminium foil over direct heat at 350 deg for an hour.  A family favorite!  Cooked over lump charcoal in a Big Green Egg.
