Hi everyone. I decided after a month with the WEN, to return it. The quality is just not there...this was apparent to me even being a newbie. I decided to bump up to a Delta 40-694. But, this leaves me with a fresh package of pinned blades. Can anyone tell me if I can just snip the pinned portion of the blade off and use them in the Delta?
Thanks in advance.

Easier to just punch them out. I have done several of them and it worked fine.

Jimm...Can you elaborate how you did this without damaging the blade?
Thanks!

I set them flat on my vice jaws and tapped lightly with a small hammer they came right out. Had both sides supported by the vice.

one could also take a piece of scrap drill a small hole lay the blade flat with the pin in the hole, gently tap the pin out

this is some great information. i was trying to figure the best way to accomplish the same thing, i was thinking grinding them off but punching out sounds like a better option.
thanks guys.
