Hi Guys,

Has anyone got a guide or general rule of thumb to which blade they use for certain tasks/projects or types of wood, just asking so I can ease my frustration of being a newbie and speed up the possibility of getting one of my attempts right for a change lol. :)

Hi, Steve:
We have an article on our site that gives some basic guidelines for blades.  The link to it is here:
http://www.sheilalandrydesigns.com/articles/scroll-saw-blade-selection

You can also email me and I will send you a blade chart from Olson Blades which will give you some idea of which blade to use for whatever type of project you may be ding.  Just let me know and I will send it to you.

Sheila :)
