Question- Has anyone got an idiots guide to choosing the right blade

Hi Guys,

Has anyone got a guide or general rule of thumb to which blade they use for certain tasks/projects or types of wood, just asking so I can ease my frustration of being a newbie and speed up the possibility of getting one of my attempts right for a change lol.
