Is it me and my computer or is the site slower than usual today?? It might be me--Richard aka thumbs

Slow for me too....which I could understand if it was January and it was -40 degrees... ;D ;D ;D

Very sloooow here as well. Must be the server.

I get it slow from time time I thought it may have been the ammount of users useing the line, but I have been on when there has only been 2 and it does not seem to make any difference

When it is this hot, I'm kinda slow too!! Themometer shows 101 degrees and the humidity is all most the same. I think my 'puter is breaking a sweat just sitting here.

I have no problems.
Would it make a difference if you re-booth the computer?

Didn't notice the slow as my satellite server was down since Fri sometime so this is my first time online since Fri am. Was surely having withdrawal symptoms.

Poor Kepy. In emergencies, usually your local library has free internet. ;D

Absolutely fine here so not the site.
Worth trying a ping test using ping plotter,the free one works just fine and is easy to use: http://www.pingplotter.com/freeware.html
This will show up any bottle necks including your connection to your isp.

Mick , not so sure It's on my end--every other site works just fine..right now the site is working fine but for how long, who know's? I down loader the ping plotter and will keep track of the site with it--Thanks for the input--Richard aka thumbs

It has been slow for me lately also. I can surf the net fine, but for some reason the forum seems to load slower. Mark

Steve's site is veeery sloooow for me also. Its just Steve's site. Has been like this for a couple of days.

It is slow for me too. Strange. Everywhere else is normal. When I click on something here, it takes 15-30 seconds to load. (Gee, are we spoiled!) But usually it takes 2-3. I don't know if it is the main server from the site here or what. It seems like it happened all of a sudden so I don't know. I am sure Steve is aware of it and looking into it.

Still no problems here in the UK.
Ping tests throughout the day have shown a constant round trip time of 100ms, and no losses or bottlenecks.This indicates a relatively fast site with no problems.

I mentioned this a couple of weeks ago....
Every other site in my browser just pops right up.
Will try some ping tests tonight.

NOW, all of a sudden, the site is popping up quick as normal!

It is in and out. Sometimes just fine, other times slower then a snail. ::)

It definitely comes and goes. When I got on tonight it was slow as molasses. Then it speeded up to what I would consider normal. Coming into this thread it slowed down again. So it is variable within the same visit for whatever that information is worth.
