Hello I have to cut 5 pieces of wood symmetric 1.5 mm Finnish birch. As I can put them together to cut?, As I tried to stick them with glue sticks, but the glue gets into the wood and then you have a lot of sanding to remove it.
Thank you all, greetings.

use painters tape to keep the stack together.

There is some pretty good information in this previous thread, that should help.

You can make a hole lot more of 1.5mm (1/64")wood. You should consider to make it a big stack (depends on how fragile the result will be).
I do also use this thin wood and I usually stack it to a massive 12 layers, which gives you a stack at about 3/4". It's not hard to cut that, you can use a #1 blade for it.
and yes - tape is best. The wood is surprisingly stable, it wont break if you peal off the tape with a bit of care.

Hello, thank you, use tape to attach the pieces I worked.

As in the referred post, I use toothpicks. They work great and won't scar the table or stick to it like tape does. Good Luck
