Thank you everyone for the kind words!  It really wasn't a tough one to cut.  Like the saying goes "one hole at a time".

I've been thinking about trying this same pattern in a 1/2" material, then, after cutting it, carving the vines and leaves back a bit to make the lettering stand out more.  I'm not much of a carver, but then again, 18 months ago I wasn't much of a scroller either! 

We'll see!

What about cutting another set of the letters and glueing them on top? think I might try that since the right hand is no good for carving.

Judy, that would work too!  My carving would likely be done nearly entirely with the flex shaft on my Dremel, and of course some carving bits.  I know if I tried it with carving knives (which I don't even own) I would likely end up with a pile of broken scraps in my lap, and I'd probably be bleeding from more than a couple of places!
