I made another one yesterday and it sold this morning again, so I'll be making another this coming week as well.  Great circle to be caught in...LOL

You may be leaving money on the table by not asking what people are willing to pay.

When I have a piece in demand - I up the price a bit.  Because the bird is suspended - that piece is a curiosity to your buyers.  It is worth more.

I just ordered the pattern... I thought it would show up in my email or on the screen.  How do I get it?

You will either get a confirmation e-mail with a link to download it.
Possibly, once you pay you can view your cart and download immediately.  I'd sign back in and check your cart.  If that does not work drop Dale a line he has changed his site recently and I do not know all the ins and outs.

@julief,
How much do you get for yours?

@ChaplainRon,
I'm already selling them at $25.  I hate to raise it to $30 or $35 and not have any sales and then have to lower it back.   I really dislike lowering prices, it looks desperate.

I emailed him.  For some reason the download had an expiration date of 1969!  hahaha!  So anyway, he emailed me it.

I forget dunk... what blade do you use to cut these puzzles?

@dunk - I think $25 is good.

Janet,
I use a #5 fdur.  That's a flying dutchman ultra reverse.  Looking forward to your pic!  Just take your time, you will do awesome!

Glad you got it worked out.

I wound up using a #7 UR.  I couldn't seem to get the 5 under control.

Anyway, the project turned out good... I'll post it when I'm done.  It's raining out so I can't clear coat it yet.

It's oak. I think that's why I'm having trouble. I'm used to cutting poplar.

Yes slow down the speed of your saw and your feed rate.  Oak is not a good choice for these intricate patterns, too much grain.  The grain has a tendency to grab the blade and lead the blade astray.
