Craft Show Yesterday
« on: May 27, 2013, 03:35:15 pm »
I had a GREAT time at the craft show yesterday and my booth did really really good!  I'm go back again next month.  The Levi Knife sold for $125.00....the keychains I made and offered for $1.00 each did not sell one of them!  I guess you just never know what will and won't sell.  I'll offer them again next month.

very well done, but just a note as for the keychains I had problems selling a product once and the supplier told me "you are selling too cheap" thats why they dont sell so try a higher price and see
just a thought

Wow - you're on fire. Looks like the Levi Knife was a stoke of genius.

Sorry your key chains didn't go, but I saw someone mentioned $3 or 2/$5. Maybe you need to push the bargain a little.

Any other really popular items? Bowls, baskets, boxes? Another coffee cup?

A little bit of everything sold (except the keychains). Bowls, baskets, boxs, portraits, knifes, hiking sticks, word art, quite a variety!

Glad your show went well.  As you have mentioned it is difficult to determine what will sell and what will not.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

I love everything on your table.  I'd been broke by the time I got home had I been there.

Congratulations on your sales.
Do not worry about the chains, that's business, maybe next month your clients prefer keychains and no razor.

Nice sale. I am starting to get some stock built up for a fall sale. I will have wood things and my wife makes some good looking wreaths. So we are doing a combo sale. It will be our first craft sale. You give some good suggestions here.
