Miniature Bird House and Fretwork Stand
« on: July 10, 2010, 10:16:23 pm »
I turned this miniature birdhouse out of Red heart, spalted Maple and Ebony. I needed a stand so looking through my pattern collection I found this pattern from Berry Basket. Cut from Mahogany.

That's a great job. I have been thinking a lot about adding turnings with scroll work. Something simular with turnings that could be changed out for the seasons would make the ladies happy around here. I have a neighbor who decorates her house and yard for every holiday. Great job again.

Nice job, I like it. Thanks for posting your work. Can you point me in the right direction for the stand. I can use it. The birdhouse is awesome too.  8)

Russ, The pattern came from a collection from The Great American Scroll Saw Patterns From the Berry Basket, Which is no longer around.
