Another Jesus cross
« on: July 04, 2010, 03:07:15 pm »
There have been several crosses shown on this site. I thought that I would show you one of mine.

It started with an idea that my brother saw of a larger version some place and grew from there.
I later did a larger one for a music stand for a young Christian singer but, I had to use a jig saw for that one.  :D

That's nice.  I don't usually like crosses with words... but this one I like.  Thanks for sharing.

Dan,
I have not seen the "NOTW" in fact, I'm not sure what that means but, if you have an example or a pattern, I would be interested in seeing it.
I forgot to mention in my first post that I also reduced this pattern down to 1-/2" wide x 2" tall for necklaces. I usually cut them out of 1/4" plywood as solid wood tends to break rather easily. Has anyone else ever tried to do something like that?

NOTW   Not Of This World.

It is more than likely copyrighted. I have seen decals on cars and trucks.

Rog,
are you sharing your pattern?  I have a hunk of chestnut just begging to be made into that cross.  Nice job on your cutting.

Mike,
I would be glad to share with you but, all I have is a hard copy. I draw my own patterns on paper and have no way to scan and load it into my 'puter.
I may try taking a photo of the pattern and posting that. I don't know how it will come out size wise but, maybe you could try to enlarge or reduce it when you print it off. Does that sound possable?
Or email me your address and I will snail mail a copy to you.
