yes i know its early for the holiday season but wanted to try out steves pattern. outside of the box is finished with minwax golden oak, backboards and bottom is red. i used 1/4 baltic birch and just finished it today. thank you steve for sharing the pattern.

Cute... looks orange on my screen.  I don't do many boxes... I like them alot but I don't like glue much.

I agree with boxmaker, never too early to start making things for Christmas.  I always select one kind of an ornament and I make a bunch for all my friends and relatives.  People love handmade things and everyone can use ornaments.  So good job Madhatter you have reminded me to plan ahead.
