Gabby.  Don't put the Scots and Welsh in the same basket. the Welsh nation was contaminated starting with the Romans 2000 years ago and by many others since. The Scots are the only pure race left in Europe, in fact the Romans built a dirty great wall to keep them out as they were considered too fierce to tame. The wall also stopped the Scots from nicking their horses, however the Romans developed a taste for JW Black and knocked a hole in the wall to trade for horses. LOL
PS. I am English, born in Sheffield where the best steel comes from.

Rob.  The S/Bridge is owned by the French and also costs a fortune to cross, you can avoid the toll by applying for a Blue Disabled Badge. Just as a matter of interest, and you know it, the Scots are the most generous nation on earth. when my business went upside down 15 years ago, all my friends wanted to know what I was going to do about it. All except a Scot called John Warrender who gave me ?10,000 without prompting and without hesitation, that saved the day for me and I paid him back as soon as humaly possible. God bless him, he has gone now but I will never forget.

Sorry to hear of your problems G B. It seems to me that the scientists have learned to keep us alive longer, but now have a new problem, keeping us healthy. I have done a deal with the local crematorium for a 10% discount as there are bits of me disappearing into hospital bins and the addition of valuable scrap metal. In the end they will have to pay me. Perhaps it is time to start a new section to the workshop called Gods Waiting Room, where us oldies can try to outdo each other. Anyway G B. I wish you well and hope you get all that you want from your impending treatment.

Gabby & Roy.  Here in wales, we have millions of sheep if the horses are getting to much for you. the procedure is easy, you have to pay a Toll at the Severn Bridge to get in to Wales then you have access to all the sheep you want for nothing. I have a picture of you Gabby, with a massive Cowboy Saddle on a sheep galloping across a field with your new C W>----- chasing a Badger. It is open season on them as they are accused of contaminating the cattle with Bovine TB. LOL Iggy

NO, NO, NO,  you have to get personal, tell her she has a shadow on her top lip and her nails look a bit tired. By the time she has dealt with that, you can be miles away.
 ;D ;D ;D

Well folks, back at home now complete with a brand new full Ankle joint. Pretty sore right now but I guess that will subside and I will be able to resume some sort of normal life in 6 weeks or so. I asked the Surgeon to magnetise it so I can pick up screws and things that drop on the floor. The hospital is brand new and I had my own private room with an En-suite shower & bog, all for free. The Queen & I are thinking of moving in along with the EX 30 and a few blades.
Thanks for all your lovely comments in this posting, horse thieves and all . LOL  :P :P :P :-* :-*

Around 1956 We lived in Bulawayo Rhodesia (Now Zimbabwe), we had a Ford Custom Saloon, the one you see in all the old Cop Movies with the big Chrome bullet in the front. My old Mum really loved that old car until we went on holiday in it to Cape Town (1,300M). Starting off on the second day we were at the beginning of the Kalahari Desert with a dead straight road for 75 miles to the next town, my old man put his foot down from the off but we only got 15 miles and it steamed to a halt. We later learned that the V Block was steel and the heads were alloy which meant they expanded at different rates and needed to be warmed up slowly. it turned out to be a bit of a miserable holiday as all the spending money went on fixing the car. But what a car. bench seat in the front, steering column change, all the knobs were trimmed with what looked like Ivory and at night the dash board lit up with that green glow like a Firefly. Bril.
