Made the laser from Steve Video, works fantastically. I made some minor adjustments, I used an old arm from a light mirror and mounted the laser on it -I have limited floor space

I have had similar problems

I overcame them by installing the font to all users

Right click on font file and select "Install for all users"

this work for me

Have fun

Ask Steve a question. / Getting Seyco Saws in Australia
« on: September 21, 2019, 08:46:11 am »
Do you know if they intend to sell these units in Australia and who they might distribute them through

If you don't know, is there someone I can email to find out

I have a cheap saw and would like to upgrade this year - can't get Dewalt in Aust so I have ruled that out

Your patterns are great, I have made a couple of them

Thanks

Les

I found if you installed as Administrator then they would appear.

Even though you may be setup as the Administrator you need to open the file folder as Administrator

I'm trying to get started in creating puzzles from photos, I know I can stick them to pineboard with PVA glue but what is the best method to cut the puzzle that leaves a clean edge on the puzzle piece

Thanks

Introduce Yourself. / New member for Down Under
« on: June 10, 2019, 07:43:47 am »
Hi all for down under

I am 62 and Live in Melbourne Victoria

I am new to the scroll sawing experience, I have been only scroll sawing for 2 Months and I am enjoying it enormously. I am currently only using a cheapish saw but I a, getting some great result and can see why people buy the more expensive machines, specially when you are doing those inside cuts. But to start off you don't want to spend too much money incase you don't like it.

I Have seen a number of Steve's videos and have enjoyed them, they have given me ideas for further down the track

Have a great day all and good Scrolling

Les
