tractor pattern

Help me. My friend should retire and enjoy their vintage tractors.
I want to give him a painting in memory of all those years.
Can someone make a nice pattern on that tractor.

Hi Gregory, I use Photoshop cs2 for my patterns and Artrage for any freehand work and Inkskape for cleaning them up a bit.....Paul

It's easy to see you aren't a Farm Boy Paul.
Take a look at the rear tires in the photo, and in your drawing. The photo is correct.
There will be a test. Does anyone know why they're mounted that way? This should stir up the hornets. 
Just have to keep you on your toes Paul! LOL

My guess is it has something to do with the stability of the vehicle.

Hmmmmm let me sea here the photo is correct the tread is the opposite way round.
Now that wood be for traction, if Paul's tractor got stuff (heaven forbid) it wood stay stuck the one in the photo wood well get stuck.

  I should have mentioned that its a old tractor and all the forward gears are not working

It's all about the traction has anyone ever tried walking or driving in a freshly plowed field??? Yeah good luck with that, but that is why the tires are made thta way it's all about the traction.

I'm guessing that with the 'V''s pointing forward there would be so much traction that the high torque tractor engine would likely be strong enough to dig in and actually 'flip' the tractor over backwards on itself.
However with the 'V's pointing the opposite direction it would allow the wheels to slip just enough to pull the tractor and its load forward without the possibility of 'flipping' it!
