Harbor Freight had their welders leather aprons on sale a few months ago for $9
The only difference between  a welders and a woodworking apron is no lower pockets in the welders.
Works great and keeps my clothes cleaner.

Torsten Kill two birds with one stone get the apron but put a picture of your wife with her name or some other information such as that this way you can tell her she will always be in the shop with you and you can wear an Apron and not feel bad about it..

Hmmm Makes me wonder what you all  are doing in the shop! I just wear whatever I'm wearing and just brush the dust off before heading upstairs. Hubby's exercise clothes and lawn mowing clothes are a heck of a lot worse than my scrolling stuff. Of course, I am responsible for all the laundry...

It's not an issue for me. I make lots of nice things for my wife, and I do most of the laundry!

I have an apron and a jacket (of course I don't use them both at the same time) and most of the time I wind up hanging them back up because they are cumbersome or get in the way, especially now with 100 degree temperatures in the shop.
