Cracks & Crevices
« on: June 28, 2010, 08:22:12 pm »
Is there an easier way to paint in small cracks and crevices?  Like when doing name signs, the inside of the "e" or inbetween letters.  I seem to be ruining brushes jamming them in there.

Janet, I use pipe cleaners alot in applying paint in small areas. They are cheap, flexable and can be cut to size with scissors.   MIKE

Hey Janet, You might look into an airbrush. Google airbrush and see what you can find. You might like what you see!

I thinned paint and then dipped.  Then when dry you can just give the flat part a normal coat of paint with sponge or brush.  I like the sponge because it doesn't "wipe off" into the holes like a brush does.

I do the thinned paint and dipping. Sometimes I use cheap artist brushes I buy in a pack from Walley World.  8)

How about having your lady friends save their old 'make-up' brushes?

Q-TIPS work very well also. They also work with glue.
