General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Brush change in the DeWalt saw
« on: March 06, 2017, 11:31:04 am »
Just thought I'd post this and maybe someone now or in the future will find it useful.  Reading this thread and seeing what members were sayin about the price of a new motor for a Dewalt/Delta saw.  Is this a good deal?  If so might be worth repairing the old saw for a backup.

It has been a long time coming.  Maybe they want to take it to a few show first to get reactions.  I would prefer the angle gauge thing would be an option.  I have one of those and it you don't take the battery out when not in use they don't last very long. Plus I've had my Ex for over three years now and have only tilted the head once.  I can use a protractor to do that.

Really looks nice.  I wish the picture was bigger, then maybe a person could see the sparkles.  Great job scrolling and finishing.

That is a great video.  Only had time to watch half, will finish later.  Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Yes, but do you love her more than COOKIES??  You did a real nice job on the card.  I will have been married 50 years this year.  I went with the proven bouquet of flowers and a card.  I thought of making something, but my wife loves flowers.  She will keep that bouquet until the last pedal drops off and the stems are black.
