« on: December 20, 2018, 09:19:20 am »
I need to know if its Corel or a printer problem and how do I fix it. When I print something its cut in half or another pattern and what the pattern is on there with it. The words will be where they are suppose to be. No error messages. Thanks

The Coffee Shop / He did what
« on: October 21, 2018, 04:37:40 pm »
My nephew graduated from Tx. A&M with a degree in aeronautical engineering. Before graduation he tried to join the Air Force and was turned down unless he had that laser surgery on his eyes. His parents found out but before they could ask he was in the Navy.  He told them his life's goal is to be a test pilot. I remember as a freshman in high school he wanted to be a hog farmer.

Steve has a pattern for corner jigs. Do those have to be as tall as the corner is high? When the bottom is dry then I use the corner jig to glue the top?

General Scroll Saw Talk / No Sanding
« on: July 11, 2018, 03:26:23 pm »
There's a man here in Lubbock that never has to sand. Several people have said this to me. All I can come up with is a good plainer and he uses the burr side of the blade on the top and the bottom.  Or pays someone to do it for him.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Glue then stain?
« on: July 10, 2018, 06:42:19 pm »
I been working on this Mill Clock for 2 years now. I am to the point that I can start gluing and staining on some things. So do I glue then stain or stain then glue. The pattern has braces you glue to, thank heaven. This project has sometimes made me kick the saw dust bag. I learned its better to kick that, then the trash can full of scrap wood.

Ask Steve a question. / Do know what to call it
« on: January 16, 2017, 07:37:44 pm »
I have a Dewalt. This has probably been talked about a great deal. What problem I am having is that when I cut something out the top can be right on the line. The bottom is another story, the stuff cut out is a lot smaller. It gets worse the thicker the board is. Whats this called so I can go look this problem up. Thanks.

Your husband wakes you up, "Honey, You are spending to much time in your shop. You are moving your arm back and forth and I think you are sanding."
