Computer questions / IS IT TIME FOR WINDOWS "10" YET?

Hey guys n gals....  Can it be a Safe or Good time to Download Windows 10?

 

The last time a month or so ago many were saying there were still lots of BUGS still in it?

 

Keep getting that dang WINDOW that keeps popping up saying Download Windows 10 now

while its still FREE to do so.  Will there be a cost to download it sometime in the future?

WHAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED A ....SAFE.... WAY TO DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 10?

READ SOMEONE SAID DON'T USE THAT WINDOW THAT KEEPS POPPING UP WITH THE FREE DOWNLOAD.

The Coffee Shop / ANNUAL CRAFT SHOW OF THIS YEAR IS OVER.... :+}

Good day to everyone....  Last week I set my crafts out for display and off everything went.  Had Lots n Lots
of people in and out all day Saturday.  Sunday as usual was kind of slow.  Enjoyed both days to their fullest.
Sold what has become my normal.  Last 3 years my Profit after booth etc. has been around the same....
.................THIS YEAR I BROUGHT HOME A GRAND TOTAL OF..................$640.00..............I am truly Blessed.

P.S.  Sorry folks....  Steve's site is having the same problems as 6 months ago.  Always hard to show pictures.

    BEEN USING FIREFOX FOR MANY YEARS.  UP UNTIL APPROXIMATELY A MONTH AGO EVERYTHING WORKED

    PERFECTLY....   SOUND AND PICTURE.  I PROBABLY DID SOMETHING I SHOULDN'T OF.  SURE IS A PAIN TO

    WATCH A VIDEO THIS WAY.   Help....

                                he un-checked "Use Hardware Acceleration when Available"
                                                 finally he closed the browser and opened a 'new' window

LATELY....LIKE A WEEK OR SO....  THE VIDEOS ARE NOT SHOWING PROPERLY.  Like on Facebook or even yahoo. 
FAST ACTIONS AND FAST MOVING.  CANNOT ENJOY AT ALL. 

COULD ANYONE LEAD ME ON HOW TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM?

This is about finishes....  I have been mixing 50/50 Boiled Linseed Oil and Mineral Spirits for YEARS

and I really cannot say I know the reason EXCEPT for being CHEAPER in the long run.  And maybe
speeding up the Drying time?  Not sure why?  Think I learned this method from our Dgman (Dan)
a Zillion years back.  LOL 

 

I just finished giving a TEST.  Might of been around forever, but not for me.  I have always used

DANISH OIL'S....Straight.... Well I gave the MIXTURE method a try and I SURE AM PLEASED.

Guestimation of 60% danish oil with the 40% Spirits,

It has been AGES since I last glacially asked for a Pattern Help.  Had to read Russ's new rules on this.  Hope it works.
     This person that asked me to Scroll a pattern is a Minister and Good Friend.  The picture is of his Father.  Passed
nine years ago.  He was also the Pastor of the same Church.  He has plans on mounting the Finished Portrait in a
special place in his Church.   My friend was Inspired when I showed him the portrait I Scrolled of my Mother who passed 2 years ago.

I HOPE there is a Designer that would Design me a Pattern.

I have been using FIREFOX FOR A YEAR OR MORE.  Had a issue today concerning IE.  Nothing serious, but
does IE need to be on my computer?  If so explain how to remove it.            Thanks in Advance........Danny  :+}

Wish I could remember where I got this pattern.  Credit is due.  Any help out there?
Haven't cut a Portrait type pattern in ages.  This one I just had to cut.  Love it. 
            Used 1/4BB with NO FINISH YET.  Gonna cut a OVAL backer a touch bigger
            than portrait.  Lil router and sanding.             
                                              Well I always look Forward to reading Pros n Cons.   tks    Danny  :+}

Well have mastered designing the popular Word Art with the bigger letters and smaller words across the middle.  Yea!
     Have been thinking of designing College Sports teams.  IE:  TENNESSEE with volunteers across the middle.  OR
ALABAMA with roll tide and a few others. 

                              Would this be LEGAL to do for selling at a Craft Show?

General Scroll Saw Talk / Unable to View members attachments???? :+(

Has something changed here OR ? 
                              I  Click on attachment and a BLANK screen pops up saying UNABLE TO VIEW ATTACHMENT.  Danny  :+}

           ALSO....  Sometimes I click on the POST at bottom and IT WILL NOT POST.  Sometimes I have to click on PREVIEW
before it will go thru.  Question Mark....  :+(

My Daughter's Birthday is next month....She collects GIRAFFES.  Asked me for a Neck up of one that will HOLD EYE GLASSES.
STEVE designed one of a Face with the glasses sitting on the Nose.  Its in his patterns under Misc.  Don't know how to put
a LINK in here yet. 

If any of our Great Designers could work on this I would Greatly Appreciate it.   Thanks in Advance....  Danny  :+}

Mom went to Heaven a couple years ago.  I kind of inherited this board.   Long, long ago Mom, Dad and I played Cribbage almost Daily.  Of course .... Against each other. 
Along with Pinocle, Hearts, Canasta, Spades and good ole Gin Rummy.  Remember these games? 

My Dad has been gone since 1981.  Not sure exactly when I made this board, but before 1981 anyway.
So this board is OLD.  I vaguely remember making it.   As you see my Artist ability wasn't that great.

Karl b sent me this Beautiful species of wood out of the Kindest of his Heart. 
It was longer than my Comfort.  Is 16" by 4".  I cut this JESUS PLAQUE again.
It was a Challenge at cutting the Ends.  Had to Suck in the Belly and Stretch
the head to keep track of the LINE.  Is Funny to think about it now. 
I feel it came out GOOD.    Wat say?                Danny  :+}
