This is called "Sunset Valley" I did this piece in 1994 and wanted to use as many different woods as I had available at the time. It is in a 24" x 36" cherry frame and has 520 pieces from 33 different woods.

Thanks all for the comments.
To sp343-- when I did this piece in 1994 all I had was an old Craftman single speed saw and a cheap table top bandsaw. It took about 150 hours .

Great work. It is just like you could step into the picture and be there. How many saws later is this now from that single speed in 1994? :)

Thanks EclipseScroller
I upgraded in 1996 to a Craftsman VS saw which I still use and is still going strong .Just goes to show that you can make chicken salad out of chicken s**t. LOL
