Requesting a pattern from this photo
« on: September 11, 2014, 04:45:06 pm »
Good afternoon,

I want to make a portrait of these two.  He died a month ago so I want to make one as a Christmas present for her.

My pattern making is poor, to say the least, so I'm hoping the experts in this forum can help me.  If you can ignore the reflections in the glasses, that would be great.

Thanks for your help,
Jim

Mahendra and tdpainter, thanks to both of you for your patterns.  Both are great - can't decide which to use.  When I get the pattern cut, I'll post the results.

Great work and thanks again,
Jim

Mahendra, tried to upload a larger picture but couldn't make it much larger and still stay within the size limits of the forum.  I uploaded a larger image to http://www.securenet.net/members/jscott/dirs/scrollsaw/.  I hope this is large enough for you to improve the pattern.

Thanks again for your help.
Jim

Thanks to all of you pattern specialists for your efforts.  My problem now is to select the pattern to cut.  My wife likes one and I like another so there is a quite a discussion going on in our house.

Really appreciate your efforts.
Jim
As an aside, I tried to make a pattern myself - it was horrible, didn't look like either of them.
