Great Projects!  I won the basket book in Steve's monthly drawing, I need to get busy and start cutting again.  It's been to cold to be in the shop, but the weather is getting warmer, so no more excuses.

Thanks for sharing,

I have to Deal with Windows machines all day long, and it is a great relief to come home and use my MAC.

I am a tier 4 tech, and also deal with Windoh's all day, I love my Mac, as they say "it just works"

Good Day Folks!

How many of you are Mac users?  I just made the switch, and I have to say I am loving it!  I been working with computers since 1983, and the last 15 years or so, have been Windohs.  I am actually having fun again, working with the built in apps, have sparked some creativity I never knew I had.

Ok I give Wig how do you use windows for Ham and shortwave I talked on the raido for many years and you got me stumped.

I use Ham Radio Deluxe for the digital modes like SSTV and PSK31 on the ham side, and use the computer to decode WEFAX, NAVTEX and other modes on Shortwave.  I have a signal link USB external sound card interface, that connects to my Icom-718.  I can also control my rig via the PC, but I actually like my hands on the radio.  Also on the Shortwave side, I have a "program guide" I use - I can scroll the different frequencies, to listen to the different broadcast stations.  I have a few YouTube videos up, feel free to check them out - http://www.youtube.com/user/K8PEZ?feature=mhum

I am making the switch to Mac - I support Winders all day at work, and I am ready for a change.  I will still use winDOH's for my ham, shortwave, and scanners.

Good day Folks!

Just wanted to say thanks to Steve!  I was the winner of last months give-a-way.  I received the book, "Making Wooden baskets on your Scroll Saw".  Can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer, so I can get back in the shop.  I am going to make a candy dish, for my Sweeties Mom.
