Title: latitude C610 laptop

Does anyone know about laptops? I got this thing from a guy for free and he did not know if it still works.
I took it home and turned it on and get this message Loader error 3.
What is that ?????

Jim I'm no compuker geek, but it just might be it needs to have the operating system re loaded from a disc.
I'm sure someone who knows a whole lot more than I do will chime in and make me look foolish.
At least It won't be the first time.  ;D

probably it is DEAD!
If it is let me know and i will take it off your hands...will send money for shipping...can use it for some of the parts!

Thanks GB for the offer. But I got it working today.
I loades a new os in it and now it works fine. Not bad for free and the only thing out of pocket is the price I paid for the power cord off of ebay.
