Post by: GrayBeard on January 03, 2012, 10:00:46 pm
There are many out there, Picasa, Photoscape, etc.

What is your choice?
Is it Free?
Easy to work with?
Easy on computer resources?

Curious!

I have been using Adobe Photoshop for around fifteen years and in my opinion it is the best. I have also tried Gimp over the last several years and found it very similar to Photoshop just lacking a few bells and whistles. I would give Gimp a big thumbs up and it is free.  :)

Gimp all the way for me GB. Free and effective I use it pretty much daily.

Paintshop pro...love it  I found photoshop too bloated for my machine.

For storage I use the cloud,Mozy as well as an old ipod.

I use a portable hard drive with a terabyte of storage. If it is super important I will also burn to dvd's. I also have other computers we can back up on.  8)

Oh I forgot! Like Russ I use a portable " My Book" storage device.. 1 TB of memory. I save everything on it from programs to patterns. Keeps my computer free of all the mess..
