Hey!
See these:

How do you deal with this? I have a hard time throwing them in the bin. Might cut some as jewelery.

Why are you drilling in the center of a basic silhouette?
Unless you are making 'inside cuts' you can just start anywhere on the outside of the pattern.

*lol* sorry, these are inside cut outs. They are supposed to be thrown away.
But they also look quit good, as if one may use them too.

<VBG> I now get your point!
I hate to throw those away too and have a whole box of them waiting for some inspiration!

Use as confetti but don't throw it to hard ::)

I still drill the hole along the line even on inside cuts. Without that whole and cut line they would be more useful and look better. 8)

I drill as close to the line as well. When I get a heart shape I give it to Lisa in exchange for a kiss. Every 10 hearts I get...er...never mind.

hmm, yeah... that's it. Kill two birds with one stone - rescue the cut out, have 2 pieces - hand the inner piece to my wife... - wait a second, those are 3 advantages :o ;D
Let's see if I manage to not damage the cut out tomorrow.

Yup, That's what I would do if I wanted to save the cutouts.
-
Good idea Russ, I also collect some of my cutouts. I think... OK someday I am going to make keychains or something out of these, but the hole is always to far in, plus there is the cut line from the blade.

I also drill close to the line and throw my "cute" cutouts in a bucket. Kids especially like going through the bucket.

Same here, as far as the drilling goes...um...I mean...the hole...wait...where I put it...err...I guess there's no way to say it without the innuendo! ;) ::)

I am going to start cutting hearts and see if it will work for me. ::) LOL ::)
-
Kindling for my wood stove.
-
Ok this is what I would do to save them I would just cut from the same hole "a heart" in the middle that way you can give htem away as a speical gift and yet not have to make a new hole or cut line.. That is just what I would do but in the future just cut real close to the line makes it easier.
GOOD LUCK to you.

Hey Bill, What if I bring over all my heart cutouts???
-
:D
I'm assuming you'd be donating them to me, not cashing them in for yourself?
If anyone wants a bunch of hearts, just cut the Elegant Cross, by Dick Boelman.

to get back on track... ::)
I repaired the cut and will add some paint to those cutouts seen in the picture.

Sounds like a neat idea, Maybe I will have to try cutting closer to the lines.

"I repaired the cut and will add some paint to those cutouts seen in the picture."
I made several of Steves gift card holders and kept the cutouts. I painted them and made refridgerator magnets. I put pin backs on the clover ones.

That's a great idea, Dave.
