You might create several blocks to hold the arm. Then you don't have to get up until all of them are on the floor.

I use 1/2" Red Oak for everything and #5 reverse Flying Dutchman blades work perfectly, even for tight turns and tiny places.

If you use glass, make a pattern and go to a stained glass shop and they will cut it for you. I use glass for nativity night light lights and it is so much nicer than acrylic.

I am using Windows 7. I am able to open other Adobe files, just not this one. Thought I would wait until Steves sends another download and hopefully the next one will work. If not, I will need to do some checking and get it fixed.

Today when I try to download Steves puzzle, it looks like it is going to work but the download does not come in. This is the first time I have not been able to get his downloads. I did install Adobe Flash Player Active X this morning, could that be the problem?

Another reason for vibration could be warpped wood. Double check to be sure your work piece is flat and not curved. Good luck, you just keep at it and you will love this hobby. We have all done all the crazy things that drive us nuts.

Remember to cut the smallest holes first. Then you have more stability with the larger cuts.

Stack cutting is so nice. Just use 2 - 4 layers so it ends up not too thick (1/2" is good). You will find the stack has so much more stability than one thin layer, and when you are finished you have 2 to 3 items. You will love it.
