One Happy 2 year old with Peppa Pig
« on: March 17, 2015, 03:19:13 pm »
Hi Folks here is my latest project all drawn and cut with my own fair hands  ;D

And One Happy Granddaughter

The paint  was airbrushed using Kiddies Water Color Acrylic and diluted with Poteen (Poitin, Poteen, Mountain Dew, Mountain Tea, Whatever you would like to call it) No fiber rise less sanding and a Cellulose lacquer Which is Kids safe when fully cured

Got the idea from her backpack and she is such a little lassie.

I drew this pattern myself not traced so if anyone wants the pattern PM me  8)

Great job Tom.  I love the fact that you went out of your way to research human safe paints and finishes.  Thanks for sharing this with us.

Tom, that is such a neat design and the colors make it especially nice.

Thanks for the kind words folks  :)

As i am new to the hobby i think the more i practice the better i get.
cutting time was about 2 hours but finishing took ages to get it right.

My tip for fellow newbes is keep a practice pattern beside the saw and spend 5 mins on the
circles and zig zags before you start on the real piece amazing how this helps (Army Training "Muscle Memory" it does work)

Thanks again Regards Tom

You are right she will be a very happy 2 year old.  You did an excellent job on the pattern and the cutting and the construction.  Very well done my friend.
