Delta getting back into the scrollsaw game

Well Delta is going to make scrollsaw's again.  It looks like a Dewalt 788 to me with a new paint job.  Here's the link.

I could not see a difference in the Delta and a Dewalt except for the color and the name on the side.

Sure looks like a DW 788 to me!

Are they owned by the same 'parent' company???

Any pricing found yet?
I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788

Hi GB - The SSW&C article (issue #40) has the info.  They are owned by the same company and as the article states is that it is the same saw.  They are priced the same, however the Delta comes with a stand and a light.

Hmmmm! Guess there isn't all that much difference either E-Scroller as my DeWalt 788 came with a stand and light too. Possibly they were priced differently but the price tag on the saw said they included those items.

Black & Decker is the parent company of DeWalt, Porter Cable and Delta.
As for the DW788's that came with a stand and light, That was a special promotion available for a limited time to some retailers.
