Just like with all other phases of this great hobby the 'blade' situation is a matter of personal preference with parties adamant about their particular product.
Best advice I had was try some of each and make up your own mind!
Quality, convenience, service, support all brought me to Mike's Flying Dutchman Blades.

There really is NO BEST blade...only what YOU consider the BEST!

Good Luck making up your mind!!!!

Hello to all from around the States and around the World.
Coming to you from Mid America in St. Peters, MO just West of St. Louis.
I'm a retired printing rep. and enjoying a new hobby!
I have been Scrollin' for about a year now and still a 'beginner' compared to most folks.
Great to see the response to Steve and his fantastic services!

Now I gotta get upstairs and get busy making my grandson a 'graduation' present!

See ya all soon!

:-\ Maybe just a "Member's Projects Gallery" to include photos of our projects and also a "General Chat" or "Sound Off" section for comments and conversation.

Steve....THANK YOU and Keep up the great things you do!!!

Ask Steve a question. / Re: Scrollsaw Stand

;D I have my saw mounted on a stand made of 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 lumber and it is on 3" rubber wheels. Front wheels are the LOCKING type to keep it in place so I don't have to chase it around the garage!
No fears of it turning over at all.
There are several plans for stands that can be found on the internet if you do a 'google search'!

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Beginner blades

 ;D Another vote for Mike!
I ordered blades on a Wednesday a couple weeks ago and got my package in the mail on Friday!
His Assortment pack is great for starting out. Once you determine which works best for you that will narrow your assortment.
One caveat for beginners...Stay away from the SPIRALS until you are confident you can handle them! They are difficult to get used to!
