Hi gang....

as Russ stated I am alive, sort of well, taking nourishment and living to the very best of my ability....

It has been a tough year overall with almost loss of home, possible move to another state, numerous semi-minor health issues and a general lack of enthusiasm for life in general.

I have turned the corner and decided if God wants me around for a few more years I will just, "suck it up" and keep on truckin' down the road.

A new desktop just came for me Saturday and at the same time my friggin' water heater died and as everyone knows you can't get nothin' done on MLK day so no hot water until at least Tuesday...

I'll be home tomorrow and get the new 'puter hooked up and be back on likely tomorrow evening in which case I will 'report' in and let you know the latest in the saga!

The saying goes, "Life sucks then you die!"
Well for a while it truly 'sucked' BUT I didn't die so you are stuck with me for a while, even tho I may have a touch of B.O.
(will try to keep the deodorant refreshed until I have some hot water!)

HUGZZZZZZZZZZZZZ to each and every one of you special people!

Yep...Thanksgiving is a great time to be with family.

And this group is a very large part of what 'family' I have left!

I truly hope everyone here in the U.S. enjoys the day even if you are stuck in an airport, on the road or with your family!

HUGZ to each and every one of you.........

My Best Wishes to you all and please realize that not all in the St. Louis area is negative.

Big HUGZZZZZZZZZZZZ to everyone!

Wonderful piece!
My kind of subject using my kind of blades.
Now get some 2/0 and 3/0 New Spirals and really enjoy the world of the spiral.
And most importantly STACK cut those pieces for more control, less fuzzies and pieces to sell, give away or donate!

Tutorials, Techniques and Tips / Re: is this normal with spiral blades
« on: September 13, 2014, 10:21:01 am »
You had some 'tough' wood in that stack and that 2/0 spiral had to work especially hard.
My largest stack has been 5/8" BB and I really had to slow down, NOT push and went through a lot more blades for the project.
Remember that the teeth are not aligned like with a flat blade and they will normally cut slower!

OK!!! WOW!!!

I have never bought any of these things in hardwood, only the basswood ones from the hobby stores. So I have no idea what to estimate for a proper price. I will do some research this afternoon & get back to you on that.
I would gladly take the three shown in the photo.

Shipping suggestion, take them as they are to a UPS store, let them pack & ship and immediately email or call with the cost and i will send to you money via "PayPal" if you have an account. OR they could casll me when to are there and I will give them my debit card no.

You are a real friend to do this for me...Thank You immensely!
