Made this Intarsia for our Dentist He uses his boat to go to Catalina Island about twice a month. Woods: Ash, Blue Pine & dark Cedar.

I keep wondering how they manage to finish such wonderful work. I've looked at a lot of inlaid work lately but they top them all by far.

Beautiful work as always! I am not familiar with Catalina myself, and so am curious as to the building you added to the rocks in your finished piece. Is it a personal or publicly recognized structure?

Nicole37,The island of Catalina is about 25 miles off the coast of southern Calif. &, the most recognizable landmark is the Catalina Casino Ballroom. It was built in 1929. The round structure rises to equivalent of 12 stories; and is surrounded by the sea on 3 sides. It is the worlds largest circular           
Ballroom, with a 180-foot dia. Dance floor.
