Whale puzzle
« on: April 13, 2012, 05:16:47 pm »
Hello
I just added my puzzle on whales to the Gallery.
I am new at scroll sawing.   I took one wonderful lesson
from Dan G.  and can't wait for my next.
LOL this reminds me of quilting,  I have a room full of fabric... now when am I
going to sew all that fabric.
Now I find I am buying scroll saw books...and patterns.  Hope I use them, + get good
enought to make some that I have bought.
I dont know how to find my puzzle,  its called a whale puzzle, by Lorace

( just proves I can't two things at once,  I was on hold with Mike at PG&E about installing our smartmeter on the well,  sorry DAN!)

Hey, not bad at all Yvonne.  My dad was a quilter, I chose scrolling.  Hope you enjoy both of them.

Thanks for sharing with us.

Yvonne nicely done.  Scrolling you will find is a lot like sewing.  We both use patterns but only as guides.  It takes skill and patience and a bit of imagination to make works of art.  You will find that there will be woods you like to work in just like there are fabrics that are better to work with than others.  Looking forward to seeing more of your work.  Thanks for sharing this with us.
