There is some seriously talented people here

Im new to the scroll sawing hobby.My name is Jason and live in Lakeville Mn. I use an 18" craftsman saw. Figured buy a less expensive one until I know I'm gonna stick with it. I've made a few signs and a couple of the patterns off this site. I would love to learn how to make portraits; not real experienced in photo shop but I downloaded Gimp and will have to practice a bit. Maybe there are classes I could take? I know the Woodcraft store here has classes each weekend so I'll check it out.

I love walking through the woodcraft store. I also like Rockler which is much closer to home for me.
