You better NEVER give out your home address and check all incoming mail and have the bomb sniffing dogs check it also!
I graduated H.S. in '55 so I remember tis sort of thing!!!

Oh I have seen this somewhere else before. I think I showed it to my wife. And Oh I will not comment on that again. Dave :-X
-
I'm not a male but I viewed it.

Ok, well, what ever, not sure, do not want to have to look over my shoulder all day. Not going to say a word,,,,,,,,,
:o :o :o

I new some would have a peek, true or false Janet

Be careful! ;) There is probably a "Good Husbands Guide" out there some place! :D
As I have told my children, "Be careful of what you wish for, you might get it!" ;D

Well....I sneaked a peek. And they forgot one.
After several nights of being late or not coming home, wait or your man at the door with a baseball bat. Explainations are sure to follow. :D
It's the old goose and gander thing.

I have read this before, and well thank goodness women stepped up and went to work. But still in today's society this is still true in some cases. Unfortunately there are no men out there willing to submit themselves to their wives if they have been working all day while the man sits at home with no job, and so calls taking care of the kids. Remember the movie Mr. Mom with Michael Keton?
There are times when I feel a man should do things, but us women have more now than we ever had and need to defend it.

WRONG!!! Cherie!!!!
My oldest son is a 'stay at home dad'!
His wife is a Psychiatrist and he stays home and tends the small farm, handles their ranch in another state and raises the kids!
Of course when he married the 'shrink' his younger brother said, "Wow, he finally found somebody who can understand him!"
OH, he also plays the Commodities Market rather well from home!

Playing the commodities Market? Well that is a job in itself. LOL

Raised my four children ( two girls - two boys ) eleven years by myself. I didn't need a woman and still don't.

My wife is an RN and I'm a State Trooper...when I am off during the week and she is working I am doing everything to keep the house running. Laundry, making meals, washing dishes, etc...along with our 4 and 1 year old...once in a while I do sneak off to the basement to cut or sand something when she gets home ;D ;D

Sounds like an easy job to me

I'm undecided. Part of me thinks it's degrading to the woman... but the other part thinks we are dumbarses for going to work!

When I was on shore duty and got home everyday by noon and she worked late til like 6:00 or even later. I took care of the kids cooking, helped with homework, did yard work, went grocery shopping, did laundry, and cleaned the house.
-
I really did not mean to come off sounding so harsh earlier. I do know that times have changed and for those families that are still in tact, it takes two in order for things to work and that means that both partners give and take.
-
No one's a dumb bum we all do what is needed and it doesn't matter who does it as long as the family is happy as we are here

I'm Gray Beard's age and remember when that was pretty much the way it was.
Compare 1955 with 2010. Compare crime, divorce rates, violence in the schools, drugs, unmarried pregnancies, family relationships, and a thousand other things. Would I trade todays ipods, computers, HD TV, and all the other "wonders" of the 21st Century? Yup, Beaver Cleaver was my hero!!

One income used to be fine, now it takes 2 to do the same thing. Who's ahead with this plan? In my opinion in many cases the children are paying with their upbringing turned over to the day care people without Mom at home.
The "good old days" were not perfect, but a some things were better.

1955 - one of my classmates got his girlfriend pregnant and it was found out one month before graduation. Both (Catholic) schools refused to let them participate in graduation ceremonies and she was not even 'showing'! They were handed their diplomas in the school office on the last day of school.
Have you been in a high school in the US lately? Some look like homes for unwed mothers!
Maybe the 'good old days' were better!?!?!?!
