does any one know if there is a manual or info for viberation. i know dewalt is similar. i need to know what to remove and what not to touch. and then when you get that far , what do you do. thanks, this forum is awesome. i appreciaate the know how and skill you do crafting. i hope to try some easy stuff soon.

I watched the Gwinnett repair videos on the 788 before I delved into my 694.  I didn't find any internal differences between the 788 and the 694 so I think you are safe using any of the Gwinnett videos as a reference.  The latest video is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P4E1At82lc (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3P4E1At82lc).  On the right side of the page are links to the previous Gwinnett videos - a series of 4 and another update I think.  Great information and I recommend them before taking your 694 apart.

Rick's website http://www.scrollsaws.com/ (http://www.scrollsaws.com/) has information on vibration and other problems of the 788 and they apply (as far as I know) to the 694.  In the left column look for the "Dewalt Tuneup" link.

That should be enough reading to certainly get you started.  Good luck.
