Hi Folks I am looking for an intarsia pattern of a guy working at a computer. It is for a friend of mine who is very gifted ( not like me)  when it comes to computers. He has helped me out of many expensive situations. Thanks

How do you make any money from your hard work?? Today I participated in my first real craft fair. I went well prepared, low priced ornaments and key chains ($5.00, $6.00) , mid line items, $10.00 to $ 25.00  intarsia and fretwork and some higher priced fretwork  items but nothing over $60.00 and that included the frame. The items were of good quality with lots of detail . I sold one, (1), yes, one, key chain for $6.00 and $2.00 for postage. There was good traffic, 1200 to 1400 people over 6 hours. There were over 150 exhibitors. What did I do wrong??

Does anyone have something for a 60th birthday, My brother will have his 60th soon and I wanted to do something to commemorate the occasion . I am thinking something free standing with a dig about 60 on it. If anyone can help it would be great. Thanks

 :)Hi folks a co-worker of mine will be retiring soon and I want to do something special for her. She has worked as a student assistant for many years. She supports student between the ages of 13 and 21 years who have physical and intellectual disabilities. She is very religious and loves cooking and tending on others. The name of our school is Crescent Collegiate and her name is Ruby, one of the kindest, most compassionate individuals I have ever met.  I know it is not much to go on but is anyone out there up for the challenge??? Thanks.

Brag Forum / My Special Girl

Hi folks, I just have to share this. This is my grandaughter. It is a piece that I started to design several months ago using GIMP. Between the jiggs and reels and with the help of Frieke, she designed the  final pattern I cut, we came up with a pattern.  Thanks Frieke. I gave copies to her mother and grandmother as mother day gifts. Needless to say they were speechless.

My name is Clyde and I am from Spaniard's Bay Newfoundland, Canada, AKA "The Rock". I have been receiving Steve's newsletters for some time now and look forward each day to checking E-Mail to see what he has come up with, and to enter the contests. Good stuff Steve, I want to try all the projects you post. I started out about 6 years ago doing intarsia but today I spend most of my time doing fretwork, and a few keychains to boot. Not making any money however,:-[, I usually give the things away. I plan to visit here often..     Clyde
