What kind of wax do you use on your saw?  Why not a car paste wax?  I looked at SLIPIT Sliding Compound but, they wanted $7 and something for a pint and over $13 for shipping.  Thanks Kraig

Kraig, not to step on Steve's toes (again) here.. but I use Slip-It myself and am totally convinced it is the best stuff on the market.

If I'm not mistaken, I picked up a quart can of the it in the GREEN can, at Grizzly.com for $10.00, and had it shipped with other items to minimize the shipping costs..

I'd be willing to bet, that if you were to use that pint can only on your scroll saw, and put it on every 6 months (way overkill IMO, unless you use your saw hard and daily).. that the little pint can would last you a good 5+ years..  A little goes a LONG way with Slip-It..  Honest!

Yep, just checked.. Grizzly.com has it for $9.95 a quart..

Hope this helps some..
