Title: Resizing pictures
Post by: campasano on April 19, 2010, 11:28:11 pm
Steve, I tried posting pictures of my toys but a message keeps telling me that the file is too large. How can I make the picture smaller i.e. thumb size.

I will be doing a demonstration video on uploading pictures to the forums tomorrow or Wednesday.

There are two different ways to post a picture. You can use the insert image tag or upload the picture as an attachment.
The insert image tag has no size restrictions but the image must be hosted on your domain of a photo sharing site.
The attachment has a file size limit of 128K and will be hosted on my server.

I will explain all this completely in the tutorial when I get it finished. It will be a video tutorial and I will post the link in the Bulletins and News forum.

Mike you can use a program called irfanview to re-size your pics.  it is a freeware program.

You can get it here.
