I think this is the right place to put a hint.
I was working with a large ply board,  and it was sort of jumping on me.
So I took some weights I had made...   I took 2 circles cut out of leather I had.   about 7" circle,  then
I filled them with shot,  and sewed them up.   I have about 6 now and use them all the time.  " my extra hand"

Those could be helpful for glue-ups as well depending on the amount of weight they are. Especially for uneven surfaces and small hard to clamp items. You could just put a piece of wax paper over the item to keep the glue from sticking to the bag.

I have a 25 pound bag of buck shot in a canvas bag that I use.  Very handy.
