Hi you all,
I wonder if you have any ideas on gluing parts that are already painted.
normally I glue my parts before painting, but with small corners and tiny places sanding is real hard to do properly.
so if I paint the parts first this would be better.
the only glue advise i get is from Bison and the say use the 2 component "kombi power".
what kind of glue do you use for this way of working?

I use E6000 which you can buy just about anywhere. I have put it under a lot of stressful situations and it has never failed me.

Marcel, the most important thing to consider is you are gluing paint to paint. That means the joint will only be as strong as the paint itself. You need to glue bare wood to bare wood. Tape off the area where you need to glue. When the paint is dry, remove the tape, then glue.

I agree with dgman.. I would at least do some spot sanding where you are gluing to open up as much wood as possible. If you don't you are pretty much gluing paint to paint as opposed to wood to wood.
