Patriot Clock with Liberty Bell

Steve,

I am going to attempt to make the Patriot Clock with the Liberty Bell on top.  One thing that I can't figure out from looking at the pattern, which is beautiful by the way, is how you would change the battery in the clock mechanism?  It looks like maybe the back of that box should be hinged or something?

Suggestions?

Hold the movement, give it a little twist and it should pull right out.

The clock movement is a push in insert which means it pulls out just as easy as it pushes in. Order the insert and any needed hardware before you start so you know how everything works.

Thanks,

That really had me scratching my head.  Obviously my first clock.
