Marblewood is such a beautiful wood that I would love to scroll something with it but the denseness scares me. Have any of you used it and what type blade did you use? Thank you so much for your help.    Shirley

Hey Shirley, I have never cut Marblewood, but I would treat it like any other hardwood. Depending on the thickness of the wood and the complexity of the pattern. So for say 1/2", I would start with a #3 or #5. Then adjust from there. Use a skip tooth blade, or a FD Ultra Reverse blade.
Good luck and report back.

Never cut it either.  I agree w/ dgman.  Also, make sure you use some packing tape to prevent burning - the denser woods tend to burn a little.  Can't wait to see what you make with it and see what marblewood looks like.

I also agree with Dan. Tape and cut, then posts pics. LOL  8)
