Wow, that is really impressive Bluebird. Were you able to scroll this piece using pinned blades? (I thought I remember you saying on another thread that you were using a scroll saw with pin-end blades, my apologies if my memory is incorrect!) I do not think I could have made this box if I were still using my 16 inch Craftsman scroll saw. Heck I am not sure that I could make this particular box with my current DW788! Actually; I passed up this pattern just a week ago when searching for a project for Valentine's Day because I did not think I would be able to pull it off without needing to start the box over once or thrice before I was able to make one that looked decent enough to give away. ...and I just didn't have that amount of time or extra wood on hand haha. 😉 How long did it take to complete it, if you do not mind my asking?

Hi Nicole,
Thank you for your reply. I actually only use pinless saw blades, as I'm also making more and more internal cuts.
Making the heart box wasn't that difficult, I can't tell you how much time it took because I mostly made it piece by piece.
With a little patience you can do it too.
Greetings
