I finished my stand today! Vibration is there, but not too bad. I'll try to attach a picture.

Good looking stand. Those old tractor seats are sure comfortable so you will be there for hours.
Can you raise and lower the seat? It looks like the table tilt can be adjusted. Am I right?

Thanks. Yes, the seat is adjustable in one inch increments, the top angle is adjustable, and the saw can slide forward or back. Need to ad a light yet. The vibration is only there at one point after I get up to three quarters speed, then it goes away at full speed. But I can turn it up pretty far. I have more work to do on that seat tho. A single bolt ain't cutting it.

Good job! I love it!

Don't trip getting on and off that seat.

Nice balance. Looks comfortable.

Find a rubber mat like a door mat or a thin rug to put under the saw should cut the vibration. The running of the saw at 3/4 speed is matching the wood freacency(sp) and making it shake, having something between the saw and wood seperates it and the softer rubber or cloth rug dampeings the vibrations transmitted to the wood. Plus the more solid the stand is the less vibration if there is moving the stand or able to shake it, you will feel vibrations.

I'll bet you rode the Horsey out front of the drug store when you were a kid, right? Just giving you a bad time. I like it and wonder why I didn't think of it. Yeah, I rode the horsey too.

Looks cool I don't see the gas peddle

Nicely done. The seat should be more than comfortable. Thanks for sharing this with us.
