I asked for some assistance a few days ago in rendering a pattern for a lady in California. Here are the results..

Thank you Ray and several others for your assistance..

Completed these today for a lady in California. Adaptation of Guamanian official seal and her family name. Light one is poplar 3/4" and dark one is Birch also 3/4" thick both have been dipped in Danish oil.

Don't know whos, is whos. I like the top ones FONT best because it flows very well. The U on the lower one looks like a W because of the tree. Just me saying what comes to mind, and disregarding my own by line.
Otherwise the quality is there in BOTH.

Thank you all for your comments.

Gabby I appreciate the input how would you have done the (U) differently in the bottom one?  Perhaps move the tree a little to the right or left to become part of the vertical lines for the "U".  Tried that and client did not approve.

About the only thing I can think of would be to break the line of the U on either side of the Palm which would eliminate the W look. There is no accounting for taste you know. And I'm guessing now that Ray submitted the one I liked the best. Now that IS class!  :)
