Kevin, Also just received my wooden clock plans and will post pictures of progress as I go along.

They are both really pretty. The heart bowl is awesome! What kind of wood did you use and what kind of finish? It really is beautiful.

The wood is Purpleheart and I finished it with spray polyurethane. The windchime was made from Zebrawood with just a lemon oil finish.

Ohh, yah, Now I see it! It is really nice in the zebra wood. I made wind chimes once and had a heck of a time threading the chimes on. Thanks for the better picture, you can really see the detail now. :) Very pretty!

The purple heart bowl looks supurb, we cant get purple heart in NZ, I imported some pen blanks one time they were dear

What clock are you building? I am working on the Ascent and I just cant get it to run continuously.

Chief, that is the same clock I just got the plans for. It will probably be next week before I get started on it. Maybe between the both of us we can get yours running right.
