wall clocks

I have half a dozen of big wall clock movements here. I wanted to make some Sprintronic table clocks with them - turned out the case does not look anything as nice as in the pictures.

So has anyone a nice simple pattern for a wall clock?

I have made a lot of clocks over the years of all sizes and shapes but, this is the biggest one that I've made. It requires more wood working than a scroll saw and may not be your cup of tea but it might give you an idea or two.
It is called the "Country Curio Clock" and comes from plans I found on line. Actually, I've mad 6 or 7 of them for gifts.
I cut the face from birch plywood instead of using the plans. And there is some scrolling on the frame. I'll try to remember where I found the plans if you are interested.

Here is another clock that requires all scrolling. I designed the pattern myself and would be glad to share it but, I'll have to use snail-mail as it is not in my computer. Just enlarge the picture and trace it. ;D
I used 3/4" birch plywood on this one.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere!

Looks great - but I'm searching for something simple, maybe abstract formed stuff.
Those beer mugs are "too fret" for the German taste - if that makes any sense.
