I talked to company and their blades are 5 1/8" long. Also they  list them as jewelers blades not scrollsaw blades.

« on: March 08, 2014, 02:25:24 pm »
I'm using FD-2/0 blades and they are hard to control and breaking. Anyone having this problem or maybe I got a bad batch. What brand 2/0 blades are you using and do they work well? Thanks for any help.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Steve's patterns

The color print of first page comes out great and any black wording is good. It just is the pattern itself that is so light. I have a Canon mx892 all in one printer.

Save yourself a lot of money and cover table with a piece of formica. I have done this for years and it works great.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: problem with drilling small holes
« on: March 18, 2013, 08:55:11 am »
Could be your drill bit is not in the chuck properly. Could be you have a bent drill bit. Or when you start the drill is on angle. Be sure when you start to drill that bit is over the spot you want the hole, do not slide drill bit over to the spot as bit will bend.

Designers plant the seeds for our creations. I know myself that I have to depend on designers patterns to make what I make. For a company to take the talents of designers and change them and charge a higher price for their efforts is a shame. People should stop buying from these type of companies and buy direct from the designers. When they loose business they make wake and have respect for all the efforts of designers. I would hate for any designer as I have seen some give up as designer. I hope these companies read the post on all the sites about this matter and clean up their act. A special thanks to any designer who reads this for all your hard work.

The white lever on the top blade holder has been revised to prevent the lever from popping up while sawing. The new lever is available from Seyco. Works great.

Leave it there and drill another hole. It is in the waste area anyway.
