« on: August 22, 2018, 09:09:06 am »
I am having problem with tension on Pegas blade holder. I'm using a #7 blade and just wanted to know if any other people were having problems cutting 1 1/4 " material. Talked with Pegas and they are I put the Excalibur holders back on and no problem cutting material. sending me a new set and want mine back so they can see what problem is.Should have the new set in a couple odays as they are coming from NJ. It appears maybe spring problem in top blade holder.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Office chair revise
« on: October 07, 2015, 11:39:29 am »
I have to sit down when scrolling. A standard office height was a little to low. I looked for a higher one and could only find drafting chairs and they were to high. I found out you can replace cylinder on chairs very easy. The cylinders come in different sizes. I found the size I needed to raise a chair that I had up to a height that worked for me. Also the cylinder adjust for up and down. There are videos on the internet showing how to change cylinders. This way you can take any chair change the cylinder to work for your needs.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Finish on a clock
« on: December 31, 2014, 02:54:12 pm »
Was wondering how most people put finish on a clock. Do you finish parts first, then assemble or assemble then finish?  If you finish after assembly, how do you do it? Thanks for any help.
